Platform development

MOOP

Mobile Offshore Operations Platform

MOOP explores the conversion of existing semi-submersible offshore assets into adaptable maritime infrastructure. The concept starts with useful marine and industrial systems, then defines the conversion and mission interfaces around a customer’s operating requirement.

Engineering feasibility

SBRP

Sea-Based Recovery Platform

SBRP explores jack-up recovery stations and a semi-submersible launch-and-recovery architecture. Each concept brings offshore assets, vehicle interfaces, handling, and support logistics into a mission-specific feasibility study.

Research & modeling

GCCP

Gulf Coast Climate Platform

GCCP explores lifting colder water from about 400 m to injection near 50 m, targeting 1.5°C of surface-layer cooling. Its Thermal Wall concept studies the potential ocean–atmosphere response.
